Field note

The pack is the first thing you buy and the last thing you think about. Until the straps start talking. Pack heavy items close to your back.

MOLLE on the front and sides

Add The Sustainment Kit or any MOLLE pouch where you want it.

Field tips

  1. Heavy items go high and tight against your back, between the shoulder blades. Light, bulky stuff goes at the bottom.
  2. Cinch every compression strap so nothing shifts or swings on the march.
  3. Do a shakedown: walk 2–3 miles with the full load before the trip and fix what rubs.

Questions

How much does it hold?

About 45 L. Plenty for 3–5 days if you pack smart.

Does it have a frame?

No internal frame, so keep long-mile loads under about 40 lb.

Is the flag patch included?

The photo shows a patch on the hook-and-loop panel for display. We can't promise it ships with the ruck.
