Field tips
- Put water and the heaviest gear against your back, layers and snacks up front.
- Training with weight? Start around 10% of your body weight and add a little each week.
- Tighten the straps so the pack rides high. A sagging pack is what wears out your shoulders.

How is it different from The Ruck 45L?
The Day Ruck is smaller and built for one day. The Ruck 45L is for 3–5 day trips and comes with a rain cover.
Does it fit a hydration bladder?
It's built as a day pack with organizer pockets. For hands-free water, wear the Tactical Hydration Pack.
Does it come with a rain cover?
No. The rain cover comes with The Ruck 45L.
