One center pole means one less thing to lose in the dark. The porch canopy is where the coffee happens.

A covered porch for chairs and boots, out of the sun and the drizzle.

Field tips

  1. Stake all corners before raising the pole. A teepee only stands right when the base is square.
  2. Guy it out on windy days and point the door downwind.
  3. Pitch it in the backyard once before the trip. Nobody wants to learn a tent by headlamp.

Questions

How many people fit?

Two comfortably, three if you're friendly. Add The Field Cot and it's a one-person palace.

Is it good in heavy storms?

It handles normal rain. Severe storms and high wind are a different story; take shelter in the truck.
